Couponing at Walgreens

Hafa Adai Everyone!

I went couponing at Walgreens, yesterday, 3/1 and Monday, 3/2!

There were deals I could not ignore, or pass up! Your friend the newbee couponer will show you a step-by-step guide of how I obtained these deals and my take away from this coupon trip. It was a little confusing but with some patience, I figured it out!

First Deal:

purex crystals and detergent.PNG

  • Ultra Purex Laundry Detergent Liquid Mountain Breeze 43.5 oz or 50oz
  • Purex Crystals In-Wash Fragrance Booster Fabulously Fresh  (15.5 oz )

Each of these items regular price is $5.99!

With the * Walgreens Card both items are $1.99 each.To get the best deal as advertised and pay only .99 cents for each item… I clipped the following deals and coupons in on my Walgreen’s App:

Separate $1.00 coupons for Purex Detergent and Purex Crystals is also available in the Retail Me Not Coupon Newspaper Insert, 3/1/2020.

I clipped these digitals to get Scotts Paper Towels at 2.75!

My take away from this coupon trip:

For the above items I purchased, I learned that each digital manufacture coupon can be redeemed only once.

For example: If you purchase 3 Palmolive dish soap bottles,

Only Bottle One will be eligible for “with card” .99 cents price  + manufacture price of .25 cents off. The final price for Bottle One  is .74  cents or:

Original Price:

$1.29

-.30 cents

  ——————————-

.99 cents (with card)

-.25 cents off (manufacture coupon  —> this can be redeemed once)

  ——————————-

0.74  for only one bottle of dish soap ;

However, Bottle Two and Bottle Three will only receive the “with card” price of .99 cents for each.

*Walgreen’s card: sign up for the Walgreen’s card – it is free and easy. You could do this online, in store or on the Walgreen’s app!

I am in no way affiliated with Walgreen’s or receiving any compensation for writing this post. My intent and purpose is to pass on good, useful coupon information to others as I continue to teach myself how to coupon!
