2023-2024 school season just started in August!!!!! So that means for the next 9 to 10 months, I will use this time to proactively prepare for 2024 senior graduation season by making as many school color leis and fold money flowers as I can. As I am a sole proprietor, it would be best to be proactive – prepare now rather than being reactive! To be reactive is to procrastinate, which is no bueno for business and simply put, bad business. My biggest fear that plays out in my brain is not expediting graduation lei orders prior to graduation day. This is especially horrible all around, for the graduate and their families.
To uphold myself to the highest accountability, my intent is to document this journey – for the next 9 to 10 months, I plan to post how many leis I make on a weekly basis and for which high school. I may report this on a spread sheet and / or in video vlog form – this is yet to be decided soon. I plan to post this information on Sunday evenings.
By late March 2024 my goal is to have the following ready for each school:
- 15 to 20 color ribbon leis for each school
- 20 kukui nut leis on stand-by
- 500 dollar bill flowers folded
In a stress free zone and zen-ful attitude, as graduation day nears and orders rush in, the work focus at that time is to create, design and deliver leis to graduates and families!
